Unless you application was specifically refused for lack of evidence of a subsisting relationship, there is no need to send in proof of communication.

Proof was needed, when submitting the previous versions of the forms, because it had a question asking how the applicant and spouse kept in contact. The new form does not ask this. The more information you submit the work the ECO has to do to make sure all of it in order

I didn't submit any evidence of the sort, no email, phone or text records at all. Instead I made sure to include pictures of time spent together.

A good tip is to paste your pictures on a sheet (A4 size) of paper, with three pictures per sheet, along with a small description underneath. This way the ECO will not have to fiddle around with lots of small pictures which will be hard for him to keep track of.

Remember! The easier you make the application for the ECO to process the better!! So this includes making sure you use the 'Any other comments' section at the end of the form to clarify any answer which you might feel the ECO would need to look in to.

For example. Your sponsor lost their employment contract for a job they have had for 3 years and you submit a freshly printed contract from their employer. Explain that the contract submitted is a copy and that the original was lost. Otherwise, the ECO will wonder how a three year old contract still looks brand new.

The guidance notes clearly state that its your job to convince the Eco,

Thanks
I will add it on the other two timelines.

Only 56 Settlement cases were done in January 2012 on ukba site.

I saw that too, only 56, compared to 1461 in Dec 12 !!
Cant understand how this is possible.
And how did anyone get a decision within 10 days, when it takes around 14 to go under process. Its all rubbish i think

Passport arrived

Post by Mirpur_786 » Sat Feb 23, 2013 12:56 am

Hi all, newbie here (1st day today) so please excuse any mistakes etc. Just thought i'd contribute my share incase it helps anyone.

we submitted my wifes visa application in mirpur back in November 2012. Had a confirmation text and call and online yesterday (22nd Feb) to say that the passport has arrived and ready for collection.

Disappointing that it's on a friday and they'd already closed, but also a blessing inshallah as it was on Jummah day :)

anyway, we're going to collect on Monday so fingers crossed and do plenty of dua that she gets her visa please :)

thanks everyone :) :)

) A letter from the employer(s) who issued the wage slips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:

(i) the person's employment and gross annual salary;
(ii) the length of their employment;
(iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and
(iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency).
what does it mean by the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application ?
