Do I need a visa to travel to Portugal

Post by regina » Sat Feb 23, 2013 7:39 pm

Hi,

My daughter (4yrs) and I have an Indian passport with a EEA family dependent Residence Permit stamp of 5yrs on our passport. My husband is Portuguese. My husband and I have been living and working in the UK for nearly 4 years. We are planning a pilgrimage to Fatima in Portugal. Would my daughter and I need to apply for a Schengen Visa??

I also have a 4month old child, she was born in the UK and has a birth certificate issued from UK. Would this document (birth certificate) hold valid as I dont have a passport for her as yet.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

The child will need some form of travel document, passport or ID card.

It sounds like you have a residence card issued by the UK. See this thread

I don't have any form of travel document. So I guess we will have to withhold our plans

Can't you obtain a baby passport for your youngest or have her details added to your passport?
