Getting copy of passport attested by a Notary Public

Post by MWazir » Thu Aug 26, 2004 2:18 pm

I am submitting a copy of my passport as proof of age. Therefore I called up a Notary company near my office in London and they qouted me £60 for attesting the copy!

I thought that was really steep! Can my employer attest the photocopy? The company I am working for on a work permit has been very supportive of me and my intention to file a HSMP application.

Thanks for your input.

Regards,
-Mujahid

I approached the Indian High Commission for attesting my passport. (Since I hold an Indian Passport). They charge £8 per document.

that is the best option(going to indian embassy), even your company stamp on it should have served the purpose.

Is it possible to use my registration certificate as the proof of age?
