Application done today.Visa expires tomorrow. Right2Work ?

Hi all,

I hv posted my application today (21 feb) in country PSW < Tier 1 ENT.

My PSW leave to remain expires tomorrow (22nd Feb).

My query - Can I continue to work on my post application receipt as an proof of application until I receive an acknowledgement letter from UKBA.

Any UKBA links to show to the employer will be appreciated.

Your status stays as PSW till you get any decision on your application. so answer is Yes.

Yes u fall in section 3C of immigrationact which maintains the existing onditions of the applicant until the outcome of the application

Yes you can work (full/part-time), this is allowed under Section 3C of the immigration rules.

What is my immigration status while my application is being decided?

If you make an application before your authorised stay ends, your existing immigration status will continue until your application is decided, even if the decision is not made until after the end of your permitted stay. You can continue to work until your case is decided if the conditions of your existing leave allows you to do so.
