Anyone has any idea if any rules are changing for continuous absence period in UK in April 2013?

No I dont forsee any changes in April as with these things they will have to be proposed first and then implemented.

also given the whole sale changes in dec i doubt if there will be anymore changes till next April to be honest!

They do these changes at a very short notice,. With the General Elections in 2015,in mind.
