help for ILR application and depandends

My husband is tier 4 student.me and my child his Depandends.my child born in UK.my husband and our visa going to expire in October/2013.in September2013 my husband will apply for ILR .while he will apply for ILR what will be procedure for our (his Depandends) application.should I provide any maintainence fund.please advice.thanks in advance for advice.
