Good luck to the rest who are still awaiting!
Did you get the acknowledgement letter before the Fee was deducted. As they always mentioned the amount of Fee deducted. Was the 01 Feb 2013 the date on acknowledgement. ??

Date of Receipt by UKBA: ????. Royal Mail tracking states "your item has reached the delivery office and is out for delivery", but has said the same for the last week.
Date of Debit of Fees: ????? Nothing yet (update: finally debited 2/2/13)
UKBA says: Nothing of course! (no reply to email 16/1/13)
NCS say: We checked with UKBA and they said "just wait a couple of weeks"
So my application is who knows where??!!
Update 27/1/13: NCS rang UKBA again and someone could actually be bothered checking their system this time...said YES, we do have it...
But still no debit of fees or letter confirming they recieved it.
Status: Limbo update: relieved
Date of acknowledgement of receipt: 5/2/2013 (dated 1/2/2013)

Did you take this up with Royal Mail?
I did ring RM, they couldn't tell me anything more than the online tracking system and said I should fill out a claim for loss so their investigation team could look into it. Only problem with this is that NCS posted it, so I don't have any record of where and when it was posted or a receipt of posting.
Fortunately NCS were very helpful and finally managed to speak to someone in UKBA who confirmed that they HAD received it. Must have just finished up at the bottom of some pile with all the Christmas/New Year hols.
Once they started processing approval came through in only 2 weeks though!

Hello everyone,
after getting letter of approval, how long does it normally take to receive the certificate of registration?

Received my letter last week but have not received it yet. I have scheduled a fast track passport application, but don't have the certificate for it yet.

thanks!

AFAIK, you need to book a citizenship ceremony with your local council (or county council in some cases). You will receive your naturalization certificate on the day of ceremony.

Naturalization certificates are sent by post only for children whose application has been submitted standalone (i.e. not with their parents), in all other cases you need to book a ceremony first to get the certificate. Children need not to ceremony, their parent(s) can collect their certificates.

Hi, yes this was for a standalone child application/registration. The letter of approval we received said it will be posted shortly. but it has been more than a week..

I know this is a small time by ukba standards. but I would appreciate if someone has experiences.. :)

thanks for this. seems very varied in terms of date of approval time and certificate stamp and receipt.

I have emailed them to inquire.

been waiting for around 8-10 weeks for application acknowlegment letter! i sent UKBA 2 letters regarding the letter and guess what? Praise the Lord last week they sent spouse EEA3 certificate and this week my AN + MN1 acknowlegement letter!!i dont know if my letters did something but i m more sure they took time to start my application because they were processing my spouse EEA3 first.they said they kept all the supporting docs sent for eea3 application for my naturalisation process.so i m quite pleased at moment Very Happy
