Set(o) over 6 months

Post by bbc123 » Tue Mar 05, 2013 10:04 am

Hi everyone

I'm coming up for my 6 month application anniversary and would like to contact UKBA to find out if a caseworker has been given my file.

When I ring the number on my letter 0870 606 7766 I get directed to a message that says they won't discuss cases and then hang up on me.

Please could someone give me a better number?

Thank you

Hi

I see now where I went wrong.

On 0870 606 7766 these are the options:

1. PEO booking information
2. Document return information
3. Progress on outstanding application
4. General inquiries

I chose 3 because it's an outstanding application, which leads to the message and being cut off.

Choosing 4 and then 2 leads to the right queue, which is the long one but at least I'm not being cut off.
