can i claim my 2000/2001 earnings

Hi All,
can somebody please enlighten to my following question:
i came to UK after leaving my job in 2001. i did my fulltime studies till march 2007 whihc included MSC. can i apply for hsmp and claim my previous earnings from my employer dated 2000-2001??? i have payslips and bank stats but no tax returns.

Some conditions:
1. There's no significant gap (1 month or more) between you quitting your job in 2001 and arriving in UK.
2. You entered UK on a student visa in 2001 and continue to reside currently on a student visa.
3. You were either on a 4-5 year long course ever since 2001 or you completed more than one course in these years - and in such case there is no time gap between completing one and starting another.
