pay slips for ILR.

Post by Movado » Tue Feb 13, 2007 1:03 am

I am due to apply for my ILR in a weeks time. I just wanted to know if i could use only payslips on proof of ability to maintain myself without recourse to public funds.

On the Set(0) form it states " If you have to complete section 3 of this form, evidence that you have the funds to maintain and accommodate yourself and any dependants without recourse to public funds. The evidence must be formal documents such as bank statements, a building society passbook, or wage slips"

From the above I figured that 3 months pay slips would be ok in leiu of bank statements. Can someone please confirm this. John seems to have a lot of inside info!  My bank account is a complete mess like in default, loads of charges and massively unauthorised overddraft etc etc and I've been having salary paid into a relative's account for the last few months.

When I read your post I thought why? If I'm thinking why maybe the HO might think why no Bank Statements as well. If you provide as much as possible and meet the requirements, The essayer your application will be.
