1. Both the letters had the same date
2. I received the second letter probably the same day i got the letter at my place, the only difference is that because of some mistake, it took them 1 day to send it to my office, but it had reached my building already.

well i hope so. The post office guy said everything went ok and he attached a barcode sticker to the letter that bears the current date and time of the biometric

Hi all

I did my biometric on the 23rd Jan but I haven't received any correspondent. Also, I had send in a change of circumstances form last week to change my address. I am worried now!! I tried to ring the UKBA but they're not helpful. Any suggestions?

Final Update!!

Post by crabbott » Mon Mar 04, 2013 9:54 pm

Final update:

1. Type of application: Tier 2 General--New Job
2. If switching, category changing (switching) from: Work Permit
3. Date of expiry of current leave: April 2013
4. Number of dependants applying at same time: 0
5. Date application posted: 5th January 2013 (Online)
6. Date application received at UKBA: 9th January 2013 (Coversheet, photos and passports)
7. Date payment debited: 5th January 2013
8. Payment mode : Debit Card
9. Acknowledgement letter received: N/A
10. Biometric letter received: 30th January 2013 (Dated 24th Jan 2013)
11. Date of biometrics enrolment: 31st January 2013
12. Date of approval: 27th February 2013, letter arrived 2nd March 2013
13. Date of return of passport and other documents: 2nd March 2013
14. Date (new) leave to remain valid from: Not yet known
15. Date BRP received: Arranged delivery for 5th March 2013. There was a "missed delivery" card put through my door on 2nd March 2013 by the DX guy...but he never rang the bell as, based on the time written on the card, I was home when he attempted to deliver. I have rearranged for it to be delivered on the 5th so hopefully it will arrive...then I will also know when it expires.

Not a horribly long wait except when you aren't sure whether or not you are going to have to leave the country!!!

Lots of luck to everyone.

This should not be a problem. I received biometric letter on my home address as well as at my lawyers's address . they send it to both correspondence address in case one of them is missed

Does anyone have experience sending the MCC change of circumstances form to change corresponding address? How long takes them to update?

Many Thanks

Hi Khalid,
Im guessing in that case you did not send your bank statements as you dont need to and the only thing they would require is your CoS letter?

Yes you are right. but to show them that you are getting paid you have to show either paysips or bank statement in which you are getting your salary.

Right, because I didnt do that , all i sent was the CoS letter. Will my application be rejected?

Looking at the maintaince page and quoting from there :
(c) the Sponsor is an a rated Sponsor and has certified on the Certificate of Sponsorship that, should it become necessary, it will maintain and accommodate the migrant up to the end of the first month of his employment. The Sponsor may limit the amount of the undertaking but any limit must be at least £900. Points will only be awarded if the applicant provides a valid Certificate of Sponsorship reference number with his application.

How long you been doing this job. If it is your new job and from the start the employer is sponsoring you then you dont need the Bank Statement or Payslip. As you dont have it.

But i dont think so that it will be a problem. As long as the Employer is agree to sponsor you for the first month.

Starting working since November 2012 for this sponsor.
And on my CoS letter, I think its the last bullet point which says :
Tick to confirm the sponsor certifies maintenance for the migrant: Y

and my employer is a A - Rated sponsor.
