Tier 2 Dependant - Name mismatch

Post by harir » Wed Mar 06, 2013 10:26 pm

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question. I'm planning to apply for a dependant Visa for my wife soon. I'm on Tier 2 general. On her passport her name is expanded (e.g. Anne Jones) because, of course, it specifically asks for her surname. On our marriage certificate, its just her initial instead of the full surname (e.g. Anne J). However, she has not taken my name or anything its just that one document has the full expansion and one has an initial. the second page of the marriage certificate will confirm her surname anyway as her father's name (e.g. Mr Jones) is mentioned there. But would like to confirm if this is ok, which is my assumption.

Thanks,
H
