Decision Held on Tier 1 Extention

Post by jobi110 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 4:21 pm

Hello,

I had an PEO appointment today in Sheffield at 9:00.
I am employed and director of a limited company as well.
I went with my 3 depandents and paid £4500 fee.

Case worker asked no questions at all as I had provided all the required documents.

but around 3:30 in afternoon he told me that he is unable to make decision as further checks on me are not been done.

He specifically said that he is waiting for an Eamil form other govt agencies, which will arrive tomorrow, and he will contact me when a decision has been made.

He also mentioned that everything seems okay with my application, but he can not grant extention unless that "Email" arrives.

He gave me a generic letter about the delay in decision.

IS THIS NORMAL?

has it happened to anyone else?

very stressed and frustrated right now as I worked hard on my application/ preparation.

Did you ask which govt agency is supposed to send an email? Haven't heard about this before. I have read multiple posts in this forum.

The only agency that work with UKBA is HMRC and police.

The check police database when they take your finger prints.

For HMRC they need to send request for information which may take upto few days.

Ok. I don't think there is anything to worry about. It might be he is new.

It may be that the someone with the similiar name is held on criminal dtatbase and they want to double check so nothing to worry about.

It is unlikely to be HMRC because most oftne they ask applicant to come get the addiotinal info from HMRC

hi, i got the same issue, i went to belfast PEO service on 22/03/2013 and they mentioned that need to do further checks to make the decisions, not sure what they're looking to check? even i didn't asked them about what kind of verification's? now i'm very frustrated about this and bit of tension until get the approval.

Do you think, it'll be okay?

No one can tell you for certain if it will be okay.

As long as you have supplied all the right documents and everything is legit, then you will get it. No need to worry, just relax

Good luck
