Perhaps a silly question but...

Post by Muscovite » Tue Mar 05, 2013 1:26 pm

...where do you get the small plastic bags/envelops for your photos?

The application says they should be attached to the right of the applicant's details page and that they should be placed into these transparent small packages. But where do I get these?

Here's a silly suggestion - use one of those little plastic packets that come with spare buttons when you buy a sweater/coat etc.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

I enclosed mine in a self-made small paper envelope (Not transparent). I did this for all former LTR applications as well.

Does it really say "transparent"? I dont remember it did.
I simply cut a normal sized envelope into half, put tape on the size and used it. Worked for me.

I am sure you could buy them in small stationery shops. My News agent has some of these on display.

you can buy small envelope or bag at cheap price from wilkinson, postoffice, 99p etc. However, you can very easily manually make it with paper too.
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

Do not take unnecessary stress over the transparency of the pocket.

where does it say 'transparent'?

i just put mine in the little envelope they came in, that the photogrpaher usually puts photos in.

alternatively you could use a semi-diaphanous cloth, kind that was used ot make harem trousers in olden days to create an element of mystery and wrap it around the photos before sewing it on the application form with elaborate embroidery.
