I did my biometric on 28th and still waiting for my passport and brp. Has any one also still waiting who done biometric near that date

31th of Jan and still waiting. Looks like their processing times vary quite a lot.

I had good news from Royal Mail this morning as well. To be fair, the UKBA claims that they will decide 90% of applications within four weeks and in my case it took them just under. I'm so relieved this is over! Very best of luck to you all! This would have absolutely made me crazy without the support of this forum.

The approval letter was dated from 3rd March. To be honest, I was a little bit shocked when saw that the application has been approved.

How long you been doing this job. If it is your new job and from the start the employer is sponsoring you then you dont need the Bank Statement or Payslip. As you dont have it.

Yes you are right. but to show them that you are getting paid you have to show either paysips or bank statement in which you are getting your salary.

Looking at the maintaince page and quoting from there :

(c) the Sponsor is an a rated Sponsor and has certified on the Certificate of Sponsorship that, should it become necessary, it will maintain and accommodate the migrant up to the end of the first month of his employment. The Sponsor may limit the amount of the undertaking but any limit must be at least £900. Points will only be awarded if the applicant provides a valid Certificate of Sponsorship reference number with his application.

And on my CoS letter, I think its the last bullet point which says :

Hi it is must to prove maintenance of fund for each depended.
£900 for you and £650 for each depended.
