I had good news from Royal Mail this morning as well. To be fair, the UKBA claims that they will decide 90% of applications within four weeks and in my case it took them just under. I'm so relieved this is over! Very best of luck to you all! This would have absolutely made me crazy without the support of this forum.

I did the same...no payslips....no bank statement....but it is an extension application with the same employer and they have sponsored me for a month this time (they didnt do that last time). Already done my Biometrics. Lets see what happens.

But i dont think so that it will be a problem. As long as the Employer is agree to sponsor you for the first month.

Right, because I didnt do that , all i sent was the CoS letter. Will my application be rejected?

Looking at the maintaince page and quoting from there :
(c) the Sponsor is an a rated Sponsor and has certified on the Certificate of Sponsorship that, should it become necessary, it will maintain and accommodate the migrant up to the end of the first month of his employment. The Sponsor may limit the amount of the undertaking but any limit must be at least £900. Points will only be awarded if the applicant provides a valid Certificate of Sponsorship reference number with his application.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/polic ... appendixc/
under Tier 2 Migrants sub section
Starting working since November 2012 for this sponsor.
And on my CoS letter, I think its the last bullet point which says :
Tick to confirm the sponsor certifies maintenance for the migrant: Y

and my employer is a A - Rated sponsor.

So did you provide payslips and bank statements the first time around?

Quick question guys do i need to show maintenance for dependants on extension applications?
i know as per the guidance if the main applicant has to prove the dependants need to prove but some of my friends send bank statements, is it necessary?
