ILR Success @ Croydon PEO : 08.03.2013

Post by evershineforu » Sat Mar 09, 2013 8:41 pm

I have been regular visitor of this forum and helped many ways to collect various information and was clarified to my queries by many members.

My approval for ILR was based on HSMP + Tier 1 for my son and myself:
VISA Expiry date: 07th of April 2013

Appointment Time: 10:25 entered the building @09:45. Following the security check while verifying my appointment, I told that I need another appointment for my wife to process her visa for Tier1 PBS following my approval decision, so the guy gave me an appointment at 3.30 PM for my wife visa.

Then proceeded to first floor for BIO Metric enrolment where we waited about 20 minutes to be called, then were asked to go 2nd Floor for BIO Metric prints and was called about 30 minutes later. While checking, surname for my son was missing and then guy went to first floor again to advise the team to enter. Again the letter was missed out on the surname, again he phoned the guy then later it was sorted. After 10 minutes, Followed by an announcement saying "Bio Metric technical Problem so there is delay in processing".

Then, I was called by CW about 45 minutes later to collect the documents. The CW was not even smiling and looked well occupied/tired. He just asked for the documents, so I gave bunch of my documents in the orders clipped and a post-it on each split and also asked for photo copies I have. So I took another bunch from bag and gave to him. He said “these things will speed up the process” (At this time I was hoping, fine it will be done in an hour time). But he asked me to go out and come back as it will take 3 hours due to delay in Bio Metric arrival and technical problem but was resolved before I left.

So, we went home as I live in 10 minutes train journey. I returned back at 14.30 and enquired about my status on the ground floor token issue counter itself. He said the status as “proposed to approve ILR” then I went to 2nd floor.

Then, my number was called at 15.15 with the approval letter after 3 other applicant.

I have seen from the forum that CWs are really friendly and telling our Life in the UK Test scores but I don’t see at least to my case. I was just delivering my bunch of documents to CW without even was asked for contents.

At the end we decided to apply for my Wife VISA by post during next week.

Many Thanks to everyone.
