As it seems its a 5-6 weeks wait from the date your biometrics was taken hopefully this will help thank you.

Yea I know there are a few people who received theirs quickly so hopefully they will post their timeline so we can work it out.

I am greeting the post man everyday by my front door. Hopefully this week my wait will end!!!

Did anyone receive any response after biometrics.

I also applied on 13 January 2013 and done biometrics on 02 March 2013
after that no response.

Did UK BA is really taking long?

I had already posted this information in a forum I created back in January on the same topic which received no responses, so I will try again here:
1.Current Visa: Tier 2 Work Permit
2.No dependents applying
3.SET (O) Mailed application: January 9
4.Signed upon Arrival: January 10
5.Payment taken: January 11 (Credit Card)
6. Confirmation letter received January 17
7. Biometric Letter received February 6
8.Biometrics taken February 7 (this seems a shorter turnaround on this than most?)
I have heard nothing since then....would really like to go on a holiday!

(HSMP -2 Years + Tier 1 - 3 Years)

Application Sent: 4th April 2013
Payment Method: Cheque
Payment Date: 12th April 2013
Ack Letter Dated: 9th April 2013
Ackt Letter Received: 15th April 2013
*Ack Letter said App received for Set(M) while I applied for Set(O)
Biometrics Letter Dated: 24th April 2013
Biometrics Meter Received : 26th April 2013

Biometrics : Not Done

Recived my approval yeserday, 9 September, I appliled January 11. Interesting that it came six days after my MP sent a letter to the Border Agency requesting info as to why it was taking over eight months.
