Tier 2 Visa

Hello,

I am currently on PSW visa and want to move into Tier 2 General. Before I speak to my employer about my sponsorship I want to info on below points
1] My current salary is £18k, do i need 20k for Tier 2 General?
2] Do i have to submit 6 months payslip while making the application
3] My work is fashion related and cannot find relevant SOC code for this. How can I find one?
Please help me as i need to speak to my manager asap

1. You should have the exact appropriate salary stated for your job title as in Tier 2 codes of practice.

3.You may not find the exact job title but try to find the job description that closely matches your current responsibilities.

I am in the same situation as yours. In terms of the new rules I am not sure if I fall into the new entrant or experienced worker criteria according to the new statement of intent. It will be worth while to find that out as well.

The above link is a dossier for the SOC codes....find ur job description and the salary on to the right should be ur minimum...
