Pls help regarding previous earning query

I have been planning to apply for HSMP program. While going through "Previous earning section" of guidance notes, I am unable to resolve following query in my mind

" Can employers monthly contribution towards provident fund be added in computation of total income of the employee" ?. Just a case I am taking a monthly gross salary of Rs 57,600 in addition to this my employer monthly contribute Rs 3,459 from its own side towards my profident fund account. This accumulated fund will be payable to me on retirement,resignation or earlier when I need the same.This contribution has also been documented in my terms of employment but not mentioned on my salary slips. Can I add this contribution in my total earnings ?

Your early reply in this regard will help me to look ahead and plan my career accordingly.

Every amount which is mentioned on Salary slip (in Gross pay) will be included in the total income. If your amount is not included in GROSS PAY in salary slip, then unfortunatly it would not count.
