Previous partner info! Form AN Sec1 : 1.37-1.42

Dear Forum,
I plan to prepare for my BC application on the basis of 2 years HSMP + 3 years Tier 1 + one year ILR. My wife stayed in the UK on Tier 1 dependant visa for a very short span of time before returning back to her home country. I am divorced and the marriage is finally dissolved in UK. I was granted ILR as I made sole application.

The form AN sub sections from 1.37 to 1.42 mentions previous partners is that related to previous partner who just living in the UK or it's regardless where they live?

Just a bit confused folks, so thought I will ask the Forum for their wise counsel.
