I've represented myself through the entire immigration process start to finish and if you really want to waste your money - youre better off spending it with someone who has lived through the process in reality from a migrant's perspective.

As have most of people, myself included all the way to citizenship!! I have never experienced any of the problems that you seem to have experienced at Croydon or with dealing with UKBA and am sorry that you are in the minority of people who do, but there really is no need to insult people on the forum as 'all bad quality and liars'

My MP has submitted my complaint case to the ombudsman and they have already advised that they expect me to be compensated for two days wages as well

did you ask her how she got her ILR

like i tell you i have been interviewed 1 hour with 2 case workers on my application and suprisingly both were dumb .....

i did had a interview like i'm a culprit ..... they were asking questions as they were police officers .... infront of my wife and i was feeling so embarrassed ....
if some budy had told me that this can happen i was prepared for that.. but here.......people don't help in that sense.... i remember there was similar case like mine and she went to solihull and got approved....

i told her in PM can you send me your employer letter.... she was so selfish and scared that i have asked her nude picture.....


can you beleive .... Senior case worker asked why your tax is not paid... i said if you operate through company there is a time when tax is due on you... he didnt understand again asked same thing... why the tax is not paid....such a stupid CW.

i was thinking I'm a lawyer. Senior case worker don't know about how company operate and its tax issues....

Mate! What a horror story. I think at Solihull recently they are having trainee CWs. You have to give the list of documents you submitted.To understand your case better.I believe you are a Tier1 applicant. Has the senior CW delayed the decision?

i was served after 1 hour of my appointment you know why ?? because they made announcement that sorry there is a delay ... cause we have complicated cases today...... when my turn come they kick me off...

i showed this to case worker... bloddy said i can show you more than that.....

i asked him... u give allowance of 6 months in a stretch for 10 year long residence applicants.... why you don't consider my application ... again he bark its for 10 years ....

thanks for the comments you give me. I think you are pulling my leg. I'm not here to prove you or anyone that my English is good or not. I wrote all this so that anyone in my situation can benefit from that.

to tell you I never completed any English course IELTS, ESOL all that. Every where including student Visa / HSMP / tier 1 , english requirement was exempted and English GUY after taking my interview back home he gave me unconditional offer letter at spot.

by the way what support can you provide me ? write here for other members may need your support.

Same happened with my case on 12th March at PEO Croydon.
Appointment Time: 9:40 AM
Reached HO at 9:00 AM

It was fine up-to our biometrics done at 11:15 AM
Caseworker called us at 12:05 PM for ILR application - after 10 minutes of initial assessment she looks happy and ask us to wait until she finishes the process.

At 1:02 PM she called us back to confirm that, she nearly done our case but there is an issue as they are experiencing delays in their Biometric background checks with National Database and the process might take up to 3 hours to complete. She told us to come back at 2:30 PM.

When we went back to caseworker at 2:30 PM - same story and again we were told to wait as the background Police checks systems failure has occurred and they are trying to restore the service and after that she can confirm what will my application outcome.

At 5:30 PM after 5 hours of long wait - finally they announced the system is still not restored and in some cases they might ask applicants to process their biometric again. It was a shocker and we were completely down after 5 hours of continuous wait.

In short they have now retained my application & passports and told us to wait for their return call which will be within 2 days - today is the 2nd day and we are not sure when Croydon PEO caseworkers process my application.

I have seen many people going back empty handed after they paid for this shit premium PEO service - Croydon PEO is worse and caseworkers don't bother about applicants - waiting area is not confortable at all.
Only 1 Biometric Desks opened out of 4 at a time - very slow process.

My lawer told to me about Croydon PEO as caseworkers are too lazy to process any applications - there was total 243 PEO appointments on 13th March at Croydon PEO and I can only 2/3 desks opens at a time to process 243 applicants. Its very busy out there - we paid a lot of money for visa application and in return they don't bother.

Still waiting for my decision... Share your experience please.

ditto experience on 12th march at Liverpool PEO. Not worth paying PEO what they call same day service, my case is as straightforward as it can be:
- No convictions
- same employer, bank accounts for last 5 years.
- HSMP + Ext 1 documents provided

Not sure if there would be any simpler cases than this one, but problem was with verification checks with national biometric database I guess. So it's not a prob at PEO but thr system! Its appalling to know that without being given an advance notice they keep your passports, documents with them without providing a decision.
living with it..hope to receive docs in a day or two.

I have seen many people going back empty handed after they paid for this shit premium PEO service - Croydon PEO is worse and caseworkers don't bother about applicants - waiting area is not confortable at all.
Only 1 Biometric Desks opened out of 4 at a time - very slow process.

My lawer told to me about Croydon PEO as caseworkers are too lazy to process any applications - there was total 243 PEO appointments on 13th March at Croydon PEO and I can only 2/3 desks opens at a time to process 243 applicants. Its very busy out there - we paid a lot of money for visa application and in return they don't bother.

Still waiting for my decision... Share your experience please.

while your visa is processed your status continues!

if passport is a problem for job etc, use documenent identification checking service by post office! it serves the purpose as certified true copy.

if travelling abroad is a problem use temporary passport from your embassy, or better yet dont travel for a while.
i mean whats the 'rush' due to which somoene would want to go get the application done in one day

Appointment Time: 9:40 AM
Reached HO at 9:00 AM

It was fine up-to our biometrics done at 11:15 AM
Caseworker called us at 12:05 PM for ILR application - after 10 minutes of initial assessment she looks happy and ask us to wait until she finishes the process.

At 1:02 PM she called us back to confirm that, she nearly done our case but there is an issue as they are experiencing delays in their Biometric background checks with National Database and the process might take up to 3 hours to complete. She told us to come back at 2:30 PM.

When we went back to caseworker at 2:30 PM - same story and again we were told to wait as the background Police checks systems failure has occurred and they are trying to restore the service and after that she can confirm what will my application outcome.

At 5:30 PM after 5 hours of long wait - finally they announced the system is still not restored and in some cases they might ask applicants to process their biometric again. It was a shocker and we were completely down after 5 hours of continuous wait.

In short they have now retained my application & passports and told us to wait for their return call which will be within 2 days - today is the 2nd day and we are not sure when Croydon PEO caseworkers process my application.
