Tier 1 Extension query

Post by kunal parikh » Sat Mar 16, 2013 12:39 pm

Hi

I need your help Guys.

My current Tier 1 visa is running out on 20 April 2013. I have got the PEO appointment for 19 March 2013. Do I still qualify to apply for extension under 28 days rule? How do we calculate 28 days? is it including weekends?

Do they always grant visa from the date of expiry????

I will appreciate your urgent response.

Thanks for your help.

Kunal

If you are really worried, may be work for rescheduling your appointment for your peace of mind. You will be safe all ways then.
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

Hi

My appointment is in Glasgow for 19 March 2013. Is it really depend on caseworker to grant visa from date of expiry or date of application???

will they ask question why are you applying more than 28 days before???

I will appreciate your help and views. My appointment is due soon so I really need to clear it. It took me 20 days to get appointment and I dont want to go solicitor who charges heavy fees.

I will appreciate your guidance.
thanks
