Passport Expired

I applied on 25th july 2012
Bio: 13th August 2012
Psw route
Applied as team
3rd Party funding from Pakistan
Still waiting.....
My Passport was supposed to be expired on 23rd January 2013 so can anybody tells me what gona happen? Do they grant a visa without asking me for renewal of passport or they will ask me to renew my passport first. Plz tell me if u knows 100% about my query. Thx.

Not a problem, renewal of passport is not needed. my friend got his visa yesterday. His passport had expired in January 2013. Passports are not stamped instead you will receive BRP.

UKBA only require the passport to be valid at the time of application.

Thanks a lot for ur reply, u make me relax now, so can u pls tell which visa ur friend applied? Is it Ent tier 1 or other? On which date he gave his biometrics? Funds in Uk? Applied as individual? Psw route? Sorry for asking too many questions.

Received BRP today, 14th Mar 2013.

By the time of application you should have at least 6 months validity left on it, by the time you applied you were fine. you fulfilled there requirement at the time of submission dont panic.you will hopefully get your visa in due course.

Kim, six months validity is not a requirement.

Kim, six months validity is not a requirement.
