Tier 1 PBS Dependent(New Born) : Documents required

Post by Zeon14 » Fri Mar 15, 2013 1:43 pm

First of all Apologies for writing on this topic as I am sure most of you have answered on this topic n number of times. But with rules changing every year and VISA costs increasing high year on year - I did not want to take a chance by reading the sticky notes on the board or reading old posts and thought to ask this question again.

I have my 2 month old Son's PEO Appointment in 2 weeks. Can you please tell me what all documents should I be arranging.

I have the below ready with me so far

1. 3 Months Salary Slips.
2. My 3 Months Bank Statements showing proof of maintainence of funds(Joint account on me and my wife's Name)
3. Passport and Visa copies of me and my wife
4. Marriage Certificate
5. Child's Passport
6. Child's UK Birth Certificate

Can you please advise if there is any more documents I need along with these.

Any guidance will be really helpful.

As per requirement, you only need
1- Birth certificate
2- Passport
3- Photographs
4- bank statement for 3 months for maintenance funds.
5- You BRP copy.

These are fine, but just in case take the below documents:

1. Employers letter
2. Tenancy agreement.

Thanks,
Uday

Thank you both for replying.

I have some more questions about the application form I am filling for my baby. Since he was born here, some of the questions obviously doesn't hold true.
For e.g.
K1; What is your current immigration status?
I have leave to enter / remain for a limited period - Go to K4
I am an EU national / family member of an EU national - Go to K4
I am exempt from immigration control - Go to K4
I have leave to enter / remain for a limited period, but leave has now expired - Go to K2
None of the above - go to K4

Now - In these questions there only a tick box against each options but nothing to write that "BABY BORN in UK " etc such that none of the above hold true.

Can someone please advise what is the best way to fill the application form where there is none of the options are valid due to this being for a baby born in UK.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Bubin123. Have you applied for a dependent similary?
Reason I ask is I am just worried that if giving no information would lead to refusal?
Though i Know there is no space to even write N/A there.

Sorry had another question : Section H (About your BIOMETRIC RESIDENT PERMIT) which is a table asking details around whats number, nationality on it etc.
Now again my child won't have it - so do
I leave this blank or Write explicitely that CHILD Born in UK
or Write N/A

A baby born in the UK needs no visa to stay in the UK (assuming he/she will not need to leave & re-enter the UK before the parents gain ILR).
This post does not contain legal advice.

@Zeon14: I will apply for my new born baby's visa at the end of the month, waiting for the bank statement to be delivered...
I have already filled up the forms and left those options blank...

Hi Bubin

Did you manage to apply for the Visa as you were planning to go month end?

Were the documents you mentioned and details you told me in the forms sufficing or did you have to provide anything else too?

thanks
