confusion - help! Appointment in 2 days!

Hi, I have original bank statements which show where my salary is deposited every month. The first two statements (out of 12 months) are in a different bank account (but with the same bank - Barclays) and the last 10 are in a different account, only because the bank upgraded my account and the account number changed. The salary is regularly deposite every month and coincides with the payslips I have obtained from my employer. Hopefully having 2 bank accounts showing the salary is not a problem??

Sounds reasonable to me. AFAIK - they're chasing proof you were paid, not proof that you constantly use the same bank account...

There is no requirement saying that you should have your salary credited into the same account each month.

It shouldn't be a problem. Even my friend had his salary in two different accounts because his account was closed due to someone hacking into it and he was issued a new account into which his salary was deposited. His application went thru fine.

My extension is due next month and I am going in PEO with two different accounts

I will be showing my funds from May 2012 till April 2013 but the problem is my first months pays (May 2012) were received in an account which was running in minus and then from June I changed my bank and since then all payments are running in plus.

Do you guys think there could be a problem for me that why the first account was running in minus in May 2012 and can a case worker ask why did I change my bank account to a diff bank?

The caseworker is only interested in the amount of salary coming into your account or accounts.

You can have 12 different bank account and you can change bank every month. Its not caseworker who will decide which bank account is good for you. You change the bank according to your personal circumstances.


Having negative balance doesn't make any difference either. People go over drawn so its normal.
