Tier 1 Visa extensio application - Urgent query

Post by poojamehta » Thu Mar 21, 2013 12:10 pm

Hi,
My husband's parents visited us in 2011 on family visitor visa for 6 months and now when they applied for tourist visa again in 2013, the same has been rejected on the grounds that they stayed for 6 months instead they mentioned 1 month in the application and during their last stay my mother-in-law was admitted to hospital for 2 days in emergency and they have pending claims against her stating that she cannot use any public funds.

Based on above scenaria my questions are;

1. Will it have any impact on Tier-1 extension application for my husband and me and our children in 2015?

2. How can my in-laws now get the visa for uk and get the entry clearance?

3. can we continue to sponsor any other relatives for their future visits?

I appreciate if someone can really guide us through these queries urgently.

NO, as far as I know, it will not affect your extension

2. How can my in-laws now get the visa for uk and get the entry clearance?

She can explain why she had stayed 6 months if any good reason and apply again
or appeal, she also need to settle the claims

3. can we continue to sponsor any other relatives for their future visits?

I think so

Hi Selva,

Thanks for your revert on the question below;

"Q. How can my in-laws now get the visa for uk and get the entry clearance?
A. She can explain why she had stayed 6 months if any good reason and apply again or appeal, she also need to settle the claims "

Further if you can you please suggest om below;

1. Can they state that out of love and affection towards his son and his family with a new born kid they decided to stay bit longer with no intentions of staying here permanently.

2. what steps are needed to settle down the claim, who can help us in this regard in NHS and how they will inform the vfs?
