12th feb Emailed again and got reply that decision has been made and my documents and decision letter sent to my solicitor on the 10th feb.
Solicitor called me this morning 13th feb to confirm APPROVAL.

Documents submitted.

Earnings
P60
12months Payslips
Letter from former employer that i've earned over 40K for period claimed
unsigned and un-stamped Print-out Copies of Bank statement from bank from 2005-2006 (period claimed).

Age

Education
Original degree certificate
Letter from uni confirming degree was taught in English

REJECTION TWICE UNDER OLD RULE

1st time was because of the work experience section that they didnt believe it was 2yrs graduate level work cos i was 27yrs then.

Appeal took 2-3months and was eventually refused again, so had to file in another application.

2nd time was for same reason and this time was claiming over 5yrs work experience cos i had turned 28yrs when i made the 2nd application.

Appealled is still with them wen i submitted a fresh application under new rule.

Its exactly 1yr i've been chasing the HSMP and during this time, i've had to quit my job and left the UK for 3-4months when my working hols expired so as not to over stay....and now my bday is comin up in 3weeks, so guess its gonna be a good one for me :-)

Shud be applying for EC by end of this week by the way.[/b]

HSMP Refused

Post by crazyjack » Wed Feb 14, 2007 9:24 am

Hi Guys,

With heavy heart I would like to inform you all that my HSMP application was rejected. I scored 0 points in past earnings.

My letter from University for english language is accepted.
Age: 20
Education: 30
Past earning: 0 (claimed 40)

Reason they have given is "The ITR document as income proof from dated Apr 2005 to Mar2006 provided doesn't seems to be not original"

The ITR document I have provided was the SARAL 2D, which we get back from income tax department of India after stamping on the xerox copy. That is considered as a valid income tax return document for all cases.

I am planning for a review request. If anybody has any suggestion please do send me.

Hi Crazyjack,

If your application is rejected because they did not consider stamped SARAL as original ITR, then go through my postings under 'All Dec'05 Rejected applications Post Here' topic.

Hi All,

I have posted the application today.
Mine was an in-country application, and the points breakdown was
follows:

Degree: 30pts
Salary: 45pts
UK Exp: 5 pts
Age :5

Total claimed: 85pts

Let me see the process the timings. Any idea what is the max. duration ?

Couple of doubts :

1.After getting the letter what is the duration for stamping? is it any specific duration ?

2.If i get a letter here and can i file the papers in india for stamping ? any had experience in this ? is it any complication ? is it same document or differs ?

3.when hsmp visa period will be getting count ? after getting letting or stamping letter ?

Thanks

Hi HSMP 2007,

Could you please post your application details in 'ALL FEBRUARY APPLICANTS' thread, all feb applicants have posted there, so it is easier for you to follow what might be happening with your case.

Finally I got my documents with REJECTION and Iam trying to reapply. The big question for me is with Tax returns .

So far Iam not sure which is the check box in the form to be selected .

Our financial year in Swiss ends in Dec. I got the letter from Employer stating my previous year earning and deductions. I hope this is P60 like in UK. How ever I would like to include my Jan and feb earnings too to complete 12 period from the same company .

In that case I donot have P60 for those 2 months. However I have wage slips and can get letter from employer.

In such case what is the right check box to be selected ? Pls advise .

There was one gentle man from India applied like this and approved. Unfortunatly I could not found his posting.

Pls help me urgently .

blues,

have u already made review application? I am also applying from switzerland. have a few concerns for which i need information from you and I may be able to help you with your tax certificates. tried to PM u, but didnt succeed. lets share.

Application FINALLY approved

Post by branch_out_1 » Mon Feb 26, 2007 9:44 am

After an inital rejection and the appeal also rejected, my second application is finally approved!
I got so much out of this forum, I would like to contribute as much as I can.

Out of country: Australia
Education:30
Earnings: 45
Total pts claimed:75

Application 1:
Sent on: 14/11/06
Rejection decision made on: 11/12/06
Letter received on: 18/12/06
Reason for rejection: I did not provide exceptional circumstance evidence for my company not being able to provide 12 months payslips because the company had a change of payroll system and could not provide payslips from old system. I provided TR, 6 months payslips, bank statements, letter from employer stating my annual salary but because I did not provide exceptional circumstance evidence, they disregarded all secondary evidence.
Got 0 point for earnings.
Appeal sent on: 20/12/06
Rejection decision on appeal made on 09/01/07
Letter received on: 15/01/07

Application 2:
Sent on: 16/01/07
Payment charged on: 22/01/07
Approval decision made on: 19/02/07
Letter received on: 26/02/07
This time I sent in a letter from my employer confirming that there was change of payroll system and quoted my net and gross income for the period payslips could not be provided, along with what I sent in the first application.

Thank you to all participants of this forum and I'll repay my debt by answering any questions that I know the answer to.

No need to enclose the initial application while doing a fresh one. As regards to Saral, what I did was I enclosed the Saral document but did not provide as evidence for earnings. Write an explaination for exceptional circumstances stating that tax coverage is between April to March... Do not tick on the box provided for ITReturns, but make sure you enclose it.
Also provide at least one of bank statements/ Employer letter(I provided both)

Thanks
Deepak
