ILR successful - solihall 21 mar

Post by yeshwantdk » Thu Mar 21, 2013 11:49 pm

Just wanted to thank this forum for the immense wealth of knowledge contained.

It had all the answers to my questions without even the need for posting it.

My applications was successful.

case : Tier 2 wp ( 5 months ) + Tier 1 ( general ) rest

Qualification Year & Gap
Y1 01-Mar-12 28-Feb-13 - 11
Y2 01-Mar-11 29-Feb-12 - 119
Y3 01-Mar-10 28-Feb-11 - 30
Y4 01-Mar-09 28-Feb-10 - 90
Y5 01-Mar-08 28-Feb-09 - 8

Has been with an IT company and on deputation. Most of the gaps are because I had to go back to home country when not in a project.

Documents Asked

1 year payslips & bank statements
Latest P60
cohabitation document ( for dependents)
work permit letter
life in UK test result

Experience at Solihall

Excellent apart from the wait

appointment time ; 10.30 AM
Allowed entry : Around 10
The processing started late because of some team meeting.
My turn came around 11.30. In 10-15 mins first round was done
Called for biometric at around 12.30
was asked to wait to confirm if everything is fine ( payment etc ) so that i can leave for lunch and come back in 2 hrs to collect document
however, after 40 min wait a lady came to tell that there is some issue with biometric and i will have to do the biometric again.
after 30 mins called again however was asked to wait again .
40 mins wait and was told no need to redo biometric and wait for 10 -15 mins.

By around 3 PM had all documents in my hand.

Overall no complaints as the staff was nice and I got what I went for

Happy to take any questions.

Thanks again

I paid via my visa card.

The experience has been good. Apart from some waiting time it is nice
