Hello,
I got married last year when I was on ILR. My wife hence got dependent on ILR visa in May 2012 for a duration of 27 months. Now I became a British citizen, can my wife apply for resident card or does she require any visa if I choose to move out from UK to any European country for work.
Thanks.

Spouses of British nationals benefit from dir 2004/38/ec. If a visa national, then a visa would be required. A residence card would manly be required if you move to another eu country.

Given my situation above, is there any visa/provision which entitles my Non-EU wife to move to any EU country with me freely (i.e. without applying visa for that specific country).

If a visa national, a visa will be expected. If one arrives at a border without one and can demonstrate entitlement, one would be admitted without a visa. The problem would be getting to a border to argue one's case.

As a British citizen, you wife is entitled to accompany you to any other EU member state.
She may be required to have a visa, but should be easy to obtain.
Can you be more specific about where you want to go?

Both embassies provide information on how to apply for a visa. This should be free and issued on a priority basis.

Thanks for all your help.
Now it's decided that I am moving to Denmark. Which visa should my wife apply as she is an Indian citizen and a spouse of a British citizen(me). I am moving to work there for 3-6 months.

A short term entry visa. This will be pretty much a regular schengen visa. It will be free and issued on a priority basis.
