FLR(HSMP) application-How to contact

Hello,

I am currently in UK on work permit. My application for HSMP was accepted and now I have applied for FLR.
How should I contact the Home Office to check on the progress of my FLR(HSMP) application status. Do I call the customer care number and use my HSMP referrence number? Does Home Office sends any confirmation about receipt of documents?
