Staus of application

Post by hsmp07 » Mon Mar 19, 2007 7:28 pm

I called up HO today to find the status of my application. They said that according to their system it is under consideration.....does that mean it has been assigned to a case worker??

Awaiting manager review

Post by kiwi_in_uk » Tue Mar 20, 2007 2:00 pm

I just rang HO to find out the status of my application as I sent an urgent treatment form on Friday. They said a decision had been made and had been passed to a manager for review. Is that generally a good sign if the manager needs to review it, instead of it being straight out rejected? I really hope so! I will ring again tomorrow to see if the decision has been made.

Yes it is fine all applications go through checks of 3 people, so whether rejected or accepted it will go through the manager.

Keep your fingers crossed, best wishes for your application.

Alee.. I am not sure when HO received the application but I assume no later then the 1st or 2nd of March because the application was sent from the UK by consultant. Payment was made by credit card.

congratulations nouna!!! you did it :)

don't worry about EC..shudn't be a big problem.

Bob - they don't tell you the decision over the phone because of Data Protection Act. The only thing they are allowed to tell you over the phone is that a decision has been made and that a decision letter will be posted to you :-)
