Hi all, just wondering for the "Date of approval", do you actually receive a letter of approval or it is just a status change on the Home Office website?
Thank you in advance!

Date mentioned in your approval letter. You recived this letter from UKBA.Ideally this Date is 2 to 3 days before you actually recived letter by post.

I applied through solicitor. Can you please tell me how many and which letters come after biometric has done. Actually I have to shift to new address so little worried about my documents.

UKBA normally sends the approval later along with your BRP card and Passport and other documents.
I was suggested that we should not shift during the processing as it might come your home address as well. Sometimes they may not send to the communication address and instead can deliver at your home address.

Why would they choose to do that? Why they may send to the home address if you have filled the form to receive everything at the corresponding address? A bit pointless IMHO...
