Switching to Tier-2 dependent from Tier-1 PSW

I am on tier-1 PSW and since I am not able to get any sponsorship before my PSW expires, I am thinking of switching into dependent of my wife who is on a Tier-2 ICT (long term) visa. Could someone please confirm if I can do a in-country switching or I have to go back to my home country ?

Also, while applying is there any additional documentation I need to submit (apart from regular maintenance etc), as I am already living in the UK. So I am wondering if I should submit employment, NI, bank stmts, etc as well ?.

Anyone in this situation as well ?
