Tier 2 dependent (General) Visa FEE issue !!

Hello All,

When applying for Tier 2 dependent (General) from India through
http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ApplyNow.aspx
We are getting fee as 40,000 INR.

However looking at " Spouse or civil partner of a settled person " fee is 70,250INR

Why is this huge mismatch? Which is correct one?

40,000 fee is correct for tier 2 dependent....

thats for SETTLEMENT... Tier 2 dependent is not settlement visa....

right, but on that chart I cannot still find fee of 40,000 INR for any suboptions. Can you please pt it out?

When submitting visa appl for Tier 2 dependent (G) we have to select SETTLEMENT then proceed further with details and at end it should ask us fee of 70250INR.

Can someone also confirm my understanding?

One fee is for dependant of a Tier 2 holder (not a settled person / British person) the other is for the depanendant of someone who already has permanent residence here or is British.

since Tier 2 dependent is not a SETTLEMENT, you shouldn't b selecting SETTLEMENT when submitting the application....
Its a bit confusing on visa4uk sit when filling out the app....
You have to select work visa, then tier 2 and then third question is where you select tier 2 partner.....
