Post by seba » Thu Mar 28, 2013 11:11 am

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the ILR eligibility for the Tier 1 General dependant had been changed from 2 years to 5 years?

Essentially, when there are changes to the immigration rules, those who currently have limited leave to remain in a change-targeted category will be subject to the conditions that existed before the changes. This is referred to as the transition provisions. Only those entering the system from the date of the change will be subject to the new conditions.

Hi Seba

What had happened with your ILR application last year, did it go through with 270 days of absence?

It would be really helpful if you can let us know.

Thanks
