I received letter on monday dated 19/03/2012 (last week wednesday) requesting for more information(documents such as bills with both names and correspondences thru the same address ) with a questionaire asking when we got married? On what bases we got married?do we live together?Have both parents met?etc.

Well,me my wife (legally married here in UK) have a 14 months son togther,we live together and we married in UK last on the 23//05/2012.We applied the following month on the 14/06/2012.

We answered all the questions and added the following documents further which were not added when we sent the application:

1.Council tax statement with both names on

2.Our son's birth certificate

3. Some bills in my wife's name and other bills in my name such as virgin media bills, gas bills, electric bills, etc

4.Loads of photos of two year period with my inlaws and others including my relatives as well and friends for various occasions including my son's christening, our wedding,my wife's birthday, etc

What do you think guys tell me something please

what documents did you send as self sufficient option?
Marriage certificate and other proof of shared residence for the past few years, and the most recent 6 months of any sort of financial statement that showed we had income or savings (regular, or retirement), in any country.

I spoke with an Immigration solicitor in London before we filed the paperwork, and she said it's very important to include at least 6 months of financial history.

Well we didn't apply as self sufficient. My wife is employed by a company and they had the pay slips already and they didn't ask any questions about that when they asked for further information if you checked from my post up there

I've just got my RC today so happy and relieved :)

here is my timeline

EEA2 sent: 3/01/13
EEA2 HO received: 4/01/13
COA received: 1/02/13 dated: 29/01/13
RC received: 11/03/13 dated : 4/03/13

just 2 and a half months :)) never call or email after got COA

wish all you good luck
Hey! it's me Net ( the wife ) I just want to share my case with I sent them 2 application form after I knew I've used the outdated EEA2 application form.

I sent another EEA2 application form on the 27th of january 2013 and I said on the cover letter that I've used 07/2012 version of EEA2 application form so I sent new 12/2012 EEA2 application form to them.

The thing is I received another COA on last monday ( 25/03/13 dated: 20/03/13 ) after I've recieved my RC with stated that thank you for you application on the 27th of january 2013 blah blah blah but COA said they couldn't confirm my right to work. so I e-mailed them that it may be an error coa cuz i've already got RC.

this made me realize that our RCs are depend on case worker which I was lucky that I've received my RC in 2 months. The problem that i found was about case worker didn't read my cover letter about my previous application ( maybe they don't talk to each other ) just put our application to case worker.

so my 2nd COA from my 2nd EEA2 application was dated 2 months after they received it but my COA from 1st EEA2 application was dated 25 days after they received it!

umm interesting :p

any experience??

It's looking like they are highly unorganised. God save UK.

no it doesn't affect your application in any way if they(h.o) needed your husband passport back which i doubt they will but when they will ask for it they will send you a letter and you just have to send it back to them other than that its normal it will not effect your application in any way you can sleep with out worries and you still have two more months wait look at our time lines from Oct we are not worried(ok worried a little bit) but calm down and enjoy your life don't worry for it you will get all your documents back when you will receive your rc.
