that's what my company highlighted who has file Tier 2 ICT for me. In fact they have specially mentioned that I shouldn't change my residence during this period.

I was suggested that we should not shift during the processing as it might come your home address as well. Sometimes they may not send to the communication address and instead can deliver at your home address.

Why would they choose to do that? Why they may send to the home address if you have filled the form to receive everything at the corresponding address? A bit pointless IMHO...

You can withdraw your application without knowing your caseworker and reference. Just quote your name, address, DOB and passport number.
Is there any way to get find out your reference number and case worker without the acknowledgement letter? I need to withdraw my application and arrange collection by courier but I can't submit the form without this information.l

Update on my application:

1. Type of application: Switching
2. If switching, category changing (switching) from: Tier 1 (PSW)
3. Date of expiry of current leave: 19/02/2013
4. Number of dependants applying at same time: 0
5. Date application posted: 12/01/2013
6. Date application received at UKBA: 26/01/2013 (sent documents on 25th)
7. Date payment debited: 13/01/2013 (Online application)
8. Payment mode : Credit card
9. Acknowledgement letter received: N/A
10. Biometric letter received: 02/02/2013
11. Date of biometrics enrolment: 04/02/2013

Found out I was denied on 11th April due to wrong SOC code. Hired lawyer on 16th April to file appeal for me at cost of £400. Appeal filed on Friday 19th April. Will let you all know what happens.

3 months to get denied meant that my old visa was far expired by the time I found out I was denied. What an awful situation to be in. Unfortunately I thought it would cost more to move back to America than it would to stay here and hire a lawyer so lawyer route it is...
