Does anyone know if the 'Arya Samaj wedding' in India is acceptable by the Visa authorities? I am going to apply for settlement Visa for my wife (I am on ILR). Instead of court marriage, I am thinking of going though the Arya Samaj mandir route as its easier and convenient than all the court hassles. I have the customary wedding planned in July this year but I am thinking of getting a marriage certificate through Arya samaj and apply the visa lot in advance (probably May).
Does anyone know if it is acceptable. I am sure that it is acceptable to the judicial system in India.
