Applying for British Passport for daughter 7years old - Born

Post by yominix1 » Tue Apr 02, 2013 3:27 pm

Please can anyone advice me on how to go about applying for British Passport for my daughter born here in UK, British Birth certificate. But currently on Discretionary visa, same as my wife.
Is there any issue applying for her British passport, do I need to go through UKBA or just pick up a passport application form from the post office???

You need to Register your daughter as British Citizen using form MN1 and it will be entitlement - Section 1(3) application.

However, you can only do this application once you have received your ILR approval and BRP.

7 years concession

Post by yominix1 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 1:33 pm

We have three children one 10year old, 7year old and 7months old, the first two have been in the UK for over 7years. We will like to know if we can apply on the 7years rule for children in UK. I have student visa due for renewal and my family wife and first and second child on discretionary leave to remain till August 2014
Please kindly advice on what we can apply for and what form to fill? Thanks
