You will be eligible for ILR for continuous 5 years residence period in qualifying immigration category and Tier-2(G) and PBS-Dependant are both qualifying immigration categories. So, you have no problem to apply for ILR in 2014.

That may be incorrect, depending on when you changed to dependant status. If prior to 9th July 2012, then you may be okay.

Your ILR is now subject to 319E or Long residence.

Yes, perhaps even sooner. July 2011 is evidently prior to 9 July 2012.

Hi
I enquired a migration consultant about my case who said that i wouldn't qualify for a ILR until 2016 as
I have changed my visa category (ie Tier 2 dep) and therefore don't satisfy "a continues period of 5 yrs in a work visa".
I would come under the combination of visas category which accounts for a 10 yr period.
So, either wait for my spouse to qualify or wait for 10yrs whichever is sooner!!
They were not very sure though.

Any thoughts?

Cheers
Madhu
