Last date for Tier 1 extension

Post by poojabhatt » Fri Apr 05, 2013 4:53 pm

Hi Guys,

Only wanted to confirm what the last date of application is when applying for a Tier 1 General extension.

The Policy guidelines clearly state that:

" Date of application

42. The date of application will be taken to be the following:
• Where the application form is sent by post, the date of posting; or
• Where the application form is sent by courier, the date on which it is delivered to the UK
Border Agency of the Home Office; or
• Where the application form is submitted in person at a Public Enquiry Office, the date on
which the application and associated payment is accepted."

This means that if you are making a postal application, you can send it on the last day of your current visa.Is that correct ?

Moderators and Gurus please dont get annoyed at my naiveness, I just want to make sure everything is done correctly and the assurance from you all is very valuable.

Many thanks in advance.
