Maint.Req-T1 Gen Dept - applying outside UK - separately

Post by SriGan » Wed Jan 18, 2012 4:32 pm

Hi,

I am in UK for more than 12 months. My dependant(spouse) will be applying for T1 General Dep Visa separately from outside UK. I will be sponsoring my wife.

1) What is the minimum maintenance requirement i should maintain in the account for the 90 days period? Is it £ 533 only or should I have to show £533+£800 = not less than £1333 for the 90 day peroid ?

2) If it is £1333, can i show the source of funds from my two different accounts (SBI UK(main stmt) and LTSB UK(supportive stmt) both for 90 day period)? Because on only one day in SBI UK stmt it shows £1064. Can I use the Lloyds Bank Stmt for the 90 days together with the SBI UK Stmt covering the same 90 days for maintainance req?

3) What are the supportive documents that should be submitted(I don have payslips)?

4) Online Printouts of Bank Statement with the stamp and signature - is that enough?

1) £ 533 only.

2) The answer to 1) negates this question.

3) Please read the application form. You need bank statements showing 533 for 3 months and whatever else proves your marriage or partnership. The fact that you are working, or not working, earning income, or not earning income, is not relevant to the application requirements.

4) Read the guidance.

Applied under Tier 1 General PBS Dependent Application for my child on 2nd April 2013 in Chennai, India.
I am living in UK for more than 3 years and my wife came to UK in 2012. Baby born in India.

Also in the covering letter, i have specified as bank balance, of not less than GBP 533 has been maintained in the three month period
In the application it is as follows,
2 Dependants and amount maintained not less than GBP 1066 in the UK SBI Account from 1st Dec 2012 to 1st March 2013. Father residing in UK since June 2009.Mother successfully obtained UK VISA in Feb 2012. This application is for daughter only.

My question is:
I have maintained balance not less than GBP 1700 between 1Dec 2012 to 1Mar 2013. Provided the original bank statement for the same dated 1st March 2013.

Do they reject the application based on the covering letter or saying not less than GBP 1066?
Since this is more than a month by one day to the date of application - will they refuse the application?

Need your valuable inputs.

Hi Sri, Mostly they will reject as the Statment is not 30 days old. My case even the statement is with in 20 days still they rejcted saying the stament date is not in with in 1 months of time before the application date. But for some luck may favours wait and see...
