When do the new fees apply

Hi,

I sent my Tier 1 extension application by post on 5 April 2013 which was received by UKBA on 8 April 2013.

My question is, whether they are going to charge me the old fee or the new fee?

Hi,

My Case is exactly the same. Posted Tier 1 Extension application on 05/04/2013 by post and was received on 08/04/2013.

I'm sure you must have used the older version (12/12) form, not the new one. If you have posted before 06/04/2013, you will be charged the old fees.

This is only according to my understanding.

If you have posted it on or before 5th of April , You only need to pay the old fees and don't worry about the date application received on HO..
