Basically, the eligibility criteria doesn't affect the timescales of the application.
Brown envelope is a myth; the registration certificate I received for my two kids was in a white envelope.lynxukauq wrote:Hi
Can someone please advise what colour is the envelope (I'm assuming its brown) for the approval letter that comes through in post and more importantly what's the address written on the back of envelope?
Kind regards

I applied through NCS for self, wife and my son. I got 3 separate letters in 3 envelopes on the same day. They all directed me to call Council office and book an appointment within 21 days for the ceremony. For child, I was given a choice, i.e. ceremony is optional.ukforever wrote:
hi towfits,
did u receive just one letter with both approval and invitation for the ceremony or did u get the approval first and then got the ceremony invitation on a later date??
i'm asking before I've read one thread in this forum that when u send application for citizenship via ncs,u get 1 letter with the approval and an invitation for the ceremony,so just asking if this is what happened with your case and if there is people who had similar case, can they tell us about their experiences pls..

As far as I'm aware, you have to book the ceremony date yourself once the approval letter has been received.
