BACK_TO_GB, they do not reveal decisions over the phone or by email, so there's nothing you can do but wait and see... waiting is the hardest part but you're almost there. Good Luck.
As for Job search.. Hubby received a couple of calls from recruiting agencies.. they will arrange for telephone interviews (I'm HSMP dependent, my husband is the applicant).. right at this moment of time he is attending the interview for EC at the embassy... will keep you posted.

In contry application:
Application filed: 19/03/07
Application recieved by HSMP:21/03/07
Sent Email Regarding application on Status 27/03/07 & obtainted ref. no. 211**:
Application status: Waiting to be assigned to a case worker
Points provision

Qualifiacation
Postgradute degree from UK (35 points)
Past Earning
Earning claim prior to full-time study for the finacial year 2002-3 (30 points)
Age (20 points)
UK experience - UK study (5 points)
total points claimed 90

I have got one question to ask from respected Form members, I have started full-time study in UK on 29 September 2003 since then I am on Student visa. I have finished my Master degree on 01/03/06 and started another Master course in the UK soon after the previvious degree: new course start date is 4 April 2006. this period confusing me (1st March 06 till 4th April 2006) because I wasn't student at that time (about one month) but I was still on Student visa in the UK though. I claimed past earning prior to all these 29 Sepetember 2004.
Is that one month gap a problem or what?
thanks in advance

Hi -

that should be perfectly fine. Any gap period not exceeding more than 3 months is considerded NORMAL and your's is one month!

Another friend of mine has a very similar case as yours. But he arrive in the UK in sep 2002. so he is showing from 2001-2002 earnings.
what documents are you showing for your past earnings? Documents realting to which country?

all the best!

keep us posted!

More than a week with CW

Post by srikp » Fri Mar 30, 2007 12:39 am

My appl'n reached HO on 13/3. It's 30/3 today and it's still with CW and no decision made yet.

Not sure why it's taking so long to decide on my appl'n when others who have their appl's reaching HO on 13/3 have decisions already made.

I submitted all relevant docs and I thought the appl'n was pretty straight forward.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi malikmoon

as long as your query is concerned you said your couse finished 3rd march and your other course started on 1st of april.

this gap is fine. if this gap had been more than 3 months the Ho would require details (for those 3 months)! This is confirmed through various sources even when you applying for your students visa.

But if you are trying to show 12 months salary then you cannot show any break except for stated in guidance notes as "any 12 month period in the last 15 months" - i hoe this is clear!

i again repeat saying your gap period is fine!

what I did is that I have claimed points for previous prior to full-time study which I have started in september 2003. so I have provided 12 salary slips (corraborated with Income tax return) covering complete tax year of pakistan (July2002 to June 2003)

please give us your expert opinion whether case worker would consider my evidence sufficiant and award me valueable points for earning.
by looking my points break down and evidence detail. do you think I can make it?
cheers

hi malokmoon

that should be perfectly fine. so your 15 months ending september would start from 1st july 2002 - 30th sep 2003 (till you became a full time student and entered this country). so this falls within the category implied in the guidance notes! So you will make it! Keep up the hope mate!

Pray hard!

Bigbrother!
