Here is the timeline for my application

Submitted on the 03-01-2013
Fingerprint invitation was sent 28-01-2013 (however my name was spelt incorrectly. I called them and was told to wait three weeks for another finger print invitation)
Received the second invitation on 09-02-2013
submitted fingerprint on 12-02-2013.
Today i received my ILR decision dated 28-03-2013.

I know compared to most of you, i got it back pretty fast but i have one small tip for those who are about to submit their application. It would be handy if you include a CRB clearance with your application. Since there is a whole section in the SET application asks about conviction and stuff, i included a CRB with mine. This might have had some impact on my application.

Good luck to all of you..
Can you please explain the process of fingerprints?
1- Do i need any photo ID to show? I need to send for change of address.
2- What is barcode reference letter?

I applied for the ILR after a 5 year refugee status.

This is my timeline:

Application sent: 20/02/2013
Biometric letter received: 14/03/2013
Biometric submitted: 16/03/2013

I am still waiting for an answer. It is the worst wait anyone has to endure.
I wish they made this process more clear so we can tell our employers at what stage our application is. Its really difficult if you have a job and your visa status is pending. I wouldn't have minded paying more money so they make this process quicker and more efficient.

I would personally wait for the next 3 weeks, if nothing then get in touch with the Home Office and your MP

Congrats to all those who have received their ILR, and hopefully the rest of us to come, it seems there are a lot of ILR issues in April.
It is not new to realise that the UKBA work randomly because as you all could see from people's timelines that those who applied in Jan and Feb got theirs, while others from november are still waiting.

The Good news, it will come eventually, but the matter is the waiting and suffer, and I think Babe-Kyber agrees with me on this one when he had to wait and dodooooo for a long time.

There is a light and the end of the tunnel but the question is when !!!

Good luck to us all, and congrats to all our colleagues.

What happened to those who are waited to more then 6month for ILR Stage and they are all affected to the new rules after October 2013 for naturalisation because ESOL and Life in the uk test both will require to show but the problem is that there is lots of people from July and Aug club member`s were received their ILR in mid Feb 2013 they were all affected for naturalisation I don`t know what we can do but just hopping from the home office they will extending time line for Naturalisation for Set protection Route ILR holder. However best wishes for those who are received ILR quickly.

It seems you are very stressed about the new changes, we would need to do Life in the UK test anyhow.
Regarding the new ESOL addition, I have not read the full guidance
But do you not hold any English language qualifications??

what sort of job do you hold? because you could argue that you communicate throughout work, however I am not an expert

Congratulation Peterpan81. I am not worry about my self I had passed life in the uk test in 2007+ESOL 1,2,3, Speaking and listening, writing, Reading. I am just thinking for my wife She has passed ESOL With Citizenship ENTRY 2 LEVEL at the movement she is fine with E2 but after October 2013 will be problem for Naturalisation Stage. Because we will applying in Feb 2014 for Naturalisation if the home office not delayed my ILR last year then we wont be affected but what can I do.
best wishes

I received the letter today from the Home Office to say I have received the IRL and the BRP will come separately. The letter came with all my original documents (sent with application) from Royal Mail and I signed for it. Yesterday DX tried to deliver something but I was not available at home to accept delivery. I have rearranged delivery for next week. I paid extra £6.13 to get the delivery AM (9-1pm) otherwise they deliver from 9-5pm.

I wish everyone good luck and thank you all for your input.

Application sent: 20/02/2013
Biometric letter received: 14/03/2013
Biometric submitted: 16/03/2013
BRP sent to home but no one available: 19/04/2013
Original Documents sent back to me with letter: 20/04/2013
BRP delivered (hopefully we will get it this time): 23/04/2013
