My girlfriend started a new job a month ago, after 2 weeks she was placed on suspension due to her immigration application information being lost !!!!!
She is an American citizen who moved to England with her step Mother (English) Father, Brother (American) in April 2003. All American citizens logged immigration settlement forms. Her father & brother have documents entitling them to ilr.
She has the standard 6 month stamp on her passport but no other supporting documents where as her brother & father do. The IND told us to submit the NTL form which has been done. On enquiring today the status of the application we were informed that ilr is required and to complete the SET(0) form as she doesn’t fall into any specific category.
Major frustration is now kicking in. Is there any1 who would have ideas/ experience on where to go next?
