You missed the hours a person works per week.It is a must requirement :wink:
@baitleykhan The document we submitted failed to mention the level of salary. I've covered the above mentioned points as requested by the Embassy. The person specifically mentioned those four points but not the * hours part * Hope it should be fine since it wasn't asked ....

Anyone has an idea how much time does it take for them to validate the received doc and process the application?
Between 5 to 10 working days. This is happened to couple of my friends too. And as soon as they submit the letter they ask for, they issued him the visa. It was taken between 3-6 working days for them. I should say start celebrating.
That would be soooo good @erhnaks ! Hopefully soon..... Applied on 11th Jan , Chennai BHC

Can someone please attach a letter template from the Employer which covers all the points required by the UKBA as an evidence in case of a salaried employment?

Thanks,

It must be quoted under paragraph iv
(b) A letter from the employer(s) who issued the wage slips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:

(i) the person's employment and gross annual salary;
(ii) the length of their employment;
(iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and
(iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency).

Hello,
May I know what exactly needs to be given as part of the section "C. the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application;"?
Should the employment letter must have the exact terminology for all of the above 4?
Appreciate your co-operation in answering this.

Thanks

Hello everyone , visa granted !!
The whole waiting torture had almost turned me into a zombie.Staying away from ur spouse is real pain when ur just a 10 day old* married couple.
Received a message last evening regarding the processed visa ; my in-laws rang in to give me the good news ...Phew!!

Following is my timeline
11/01/2013= Submitted application @ VFS Bangalore
16/01/2013= Under process at BHC
08/04/2013= Received call from BHC, Chennai to provide Employer Reference Letter
09/04/2013= Letter couriered to BHC,Chennai
12/04/2013= Letter arrived at BHC,Chennai
16/04/2013= Application Processed and Documents sent by Blue dart.
17/04/2012= Visa Granted!!

This forum has been of great help and I so wished that I had gone through this before I applied for visa...would have made a more systematic application with cover letter.Probably would have saved some more time..

Newbies who post questions here should really take some effort to go through all these 135 pages.Will be of great help...

Wish everyone luck ... and as they say patience is a true virtue :lol: :lol:

Hello Takdeer,

Every company maintains a standard format in which the letter is provided by the HR for visa..In our case we did the same.But had to re sumbit it since it didn't mention specific terms as required by UKBA.We resubmitTed the letter by mentioning all the above details including the SOC code.

The letter should specifically mention terms like annual gross salary, your title,period of employment ,SOC code stating the reason the letter was provided

Point C basically means the letter should state the same salary mentioned in the application which is also coherent to all the documents provided as evidence for financial requirement eg salary slips, bank statements

I already paid about 1000 pounds to lawyer who is in India he filled the appeal document. But he said u need a another barrister in uk who represents for u in court. U have to pay him separately. But I don't know how much ll he charge if I find a lawyer to represents. Could u pls tell me can u help me in any way.

After the hearing, they have given again 15 days for next part of hearing because some document was missing from home office lawyer.
