Hi ,

I will be applying for ILR very soon & need an employer letter template...as I am on Tier 1 (General) for last 5 years Since may 2008 till today , so do I need to mention any SOC code in the employer letter or is it only applicable to Tier 2 pls ?

Can you also guide me to a link in the forum for Employer letter template for Tier (General) applying for ILR pls ?

No employer letter is required to confirm your employment when applying for ILR as a T1G Migrant. The SOC code only applies to Employer sponsored immigration categories such as WP & T2. You will however need your business and annual leave absences to be confirmed by your employer(s) irrespective of the immigration category you apply under. A sticky thread with a sample template is already available for this: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=52143
