SET (0) - Question 7.11

Hi All,

I am Tier 1 - General visa holder applying for ILR next week. I was confused as to how I should answer Question 7.11 of the Set(0) form.

The question is:
7.11. How long have you lived in the UK?

I came to UK on 29th June 2008 and my PEO Appointment is on 30th April, 2013. So I have stated 4 Years and 11 Months as my answer.

Should I say 4Y and 11M or 5 Years? Can people who have applied for ILR or got ILR answer this please.

What if one who is in UK even before they got Tier-1 General, like I was here on a student visa since 2004 and got tier-1 in 2008.

Just wondering do I need to mention my stay since 2004 or my stay since the time I got tier-1 General?

Any comment on this will be very helpful.
